Jeff: This whole week has been one big opportunity for writers to weave in very serious and poignant cultural things to their stories.
Jeff: This is also, in part, about the little boy inside of me. Who liked to kiss trees. And was shunned. He never got to catch a touchdown pass. Or kiss a tree without being pants-ed. So, on this night, when the world's greatest warriors do battle, I think of him. Shooting free throws in a canoe that his grandmother made.
